NAVIGATING THE STACKS IN THE REGIONAL HISTORY AND GENEALOGY CENTER

SHELBY COUNTY ARCHIVES RELOCATION

Vincent Clark of the Shelby County Archives will talk about the relocation of the Archives to Shelby Farms and update us on the latest genealogical resources on the Archives website. Free and open to the public.

PLANTING JEWISH ROOTS IN SOUTHERN SOIL: TALES FROM THE ARCHIVES OF TEMPLE ISRAEL

Getting Started in Genealogy

Here are a couple of presentations that I did for the Tennessee Genealogical Society recently. I'll be giving a shortened version next month too. These are for the person looking to get started in genealogy, who wants help in deciding what kind of hardware and software to buy, and for Memphis folks it gives specific information on the location of local Shelby county records.
